Cold Drinks brands like PepsiCo, Cola and Bisleri will now buy their plastic bottles back to customers. Companies have also started writing buyback values on their plastic bottles.
Pepsi spokesman said, "The company has fixed its recyclable value of plastic bottles at Rs 15. This buyback value is being written on boats sold in Maharashtra. Besides, he said, "We are working together like this environment. This company will set up Reverse Vending machines, make collection points. This effort will be made to advance the buyback program in the state and a center will be built for bottles collection at many places in the area
Ow companies have been buying the bottles of cold drinks sold in Maharashtra. The government has allowed companies to decide on the price of the bottle when they return, but the excessive companies have decided the price of a bottle up to 15 rupees. However, some industry officials say that the buyback system is not foolproof and this will create a lot of complexity.
Bisler chairman Ramesh Chauhan said, "Plastics are already in the system of recycling. Now we need to make this more effective and beneficial for the prospective parties. '
